Available4 provides online interactive calendars that can be updated, searched and viewed both online and by pre-set text messages from a mobile phone. 

Updating, activates a person's availability for a preset period of time, e.g. a shift, a day, a week etc. during the period of time when a person has set themselves as available, they are effectively saying "I am available, you can contact me if you need me" for a shift, appointment etc.

The service is therefore entirely permission based, it is the exact opposite of mass texting.  The ability to update a web based calendar using text messages in this way, is unique to Available 4 and means that for all those people without Internet access, they can still use the service.

The calendars can be searched either online or by using preset text messages (for situations where people are not near an Internet connection).
